Counselling and Talking Therapies

couneslling

We employ a highly qualified team of counsellors and Cognitive Behaviour Therapists who are experienced in meeting a range of individual needs. These can be delivered in one-to-one, group sessions or online formats.

Counselling is a form of self-disclosure that helps people move toward greater personal awareness and growth to establish more effective ways of coping with life.

Talking Therapies can help with

• Depression and mood changes
• Anxiety and panic attacks
• Poor self esteem
• Relationship difficulties
• Traumatic experiences
• Self-harming behaviour
• Loss and Grief
• Anger
• Identity problems
• Addictions

Independent advocacy for individuals and business

A person suffering with poor mental health may feel unable to communicate their needs or understand the options available to them.

Our advocates are skilled in helping people access information and services helping them to make informed decisions, exercise their right to explore and choose the services they receive and speak out about things that matter or are affecting them.

An advocate will put forward views and opinions and make sure an individual’s rights are defended. They are helpful to employers when managing the transition back to work after a period of absence and work sensitively to ensure positive outcomes for both employers and individual staff members.

You can be assured that our team are DBS vetted, with confidentiality agreements, trained in data protection and the sharing of information.
